1: How do I get a drawing to you?
A: There are several ways of getting your piece of art to us – Send us a drawing in the post (we strongly recommend that if you are sending us the image via the post you take a photocopy and send this, though we have never had anything go missing there is always this likelihood), or send a scanned image to our email address .
2: What size does the drawing need to be to create a make into a Pendant?
A. The best image is one that is relatively simple and has been done with a thick dark coloured marker or pen no larger than an A4 size. We do our very best to accommodate a variety of images, but if for some reason your image will not reproduce well onto a pendant we will contact you to discuss.
3: Can you put an image of hands or feet on both sides of a pendant?
A: Sorry,
but no, the prints are actually indented into the silver, to ensure a flat pendant
we can only do a print on one side.
4: How Pure is the silver used in the Jewellery?
A: All of silver pendants
are made from 99.9% solid silver. All of the fittings and attachments are made from
solid sterling silver.
5 What is the difference between solid silver and sterling silver?
A: Sterling
silver is only 92.5% pure, as it is mixed with other metals/alloys to make it harder,
therefore more suitable to be used for items such as cutlery, teapots, etc. Our pendants
are made from solid silver, which is 99.9% pure silver. All of our accessories (chains,
key rings, findings etc) are all solid sterling silver (unless stated otherwise).
6: How long does it take for my piece to be finished once the order has been received?
A: Once the order has been placed & paid plus we have taken or received the prints or artwork, we send a layout for you to approve, as soon as you have given us approval, we complete and dispatch your order usually within 7 working days. Should you require a piece urgently please contact us to discuss your requirements.
7: Are all of the pieces handmade using our supplied prints?
A: Yes, each
piece is made by hand. Nothing is machine made, this ensures that every single item
is unique; no two look the same. Unlike mass produced jewellery found in shops, each
of piece has its own unique look, which one would expect with an organic, handcrafted
items, and yes we always use only your supplied prints
8: How old does my baby need to be before I can take a hand or foot print?
A:
Hand and foot prints can be taken at any age from new-born's to old age, as we proportionally
reduce the image to fit the pendant. In fact, if you have prints from when your child
was younger, or if they are now adult, if you still have prints they made at school
or nursery, then send us a copy of these prints and we can turn back the clock of
time for you.
9: Are the ink_less wipes print kit safe to use on babies or children?
A: The simply answer is yes, the wipes, are specially made to take new born's prints in USA hospitals, and after each print is taken, we recommend that you wash your hands before and after contact with the sheets.
10: How far in advance do I need to place my orders for Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentines?
A: We recommend that orders over these busy times be placed at least 15 working
days prior to the date in order to guarantee delivery. We do however understand that
at times this is not always possible and will endeavour to accommodate your requests.
We also cannot be held responsible for delays due to postal errors or industrial
disputes that could delay delivery.
11: Can you make multiple pieces from one work
of art?
A: Absolutely, we can make as many pieces as you require, and we hold copies of the prints on file for up to 2 years, so repeat orders can usually be made without taking new prints.
